RETURNS/EXCHANGES: If you're happy with your product, we hope you'll tell a friend. If you're unhappy, please let us know! Mainely Local strives for the best customer service and we want you to be happy with your purchases. For website and phone orders on all Mainely Local products, please contact us upon receiving your item if the item was damaged during shipping or you're unhappy with the outcome of your product for any reason. We will make this right. You may return the product for a full refund or exchange within 10 days of the purchase date. Mainely Local gladly accepts most other returns (such as a purchase from a craft fair) within 45 days of purchase. Unfortunately, specific custom items such as hand-stamped personalized jewelry, and map locations (like a small town or neighborhood) for any of our map products are final sales. But for unusual map locations, we will always send you a photo of a map with a bezel over it  for your approval prior to final production and shipping. General popular map locations such as a whole state, or popular destinations like Boston, Chicago, London, Paris etc. are ok for exchange.

SHIPPING/HANDLING: Mainely Local uses the United States Postal Service to ship its products. Our fee is a flat $3.50 - first class postage with tracking. There are no handling charges at Mainely Local. If the standard shipping cost more than that for larger orders, Mainely Local will pay the difference. 

Typically, orders are mailed out 1 to 5 days after purchase date. If your shipping is delayed for any reason, we will contact you to let you know. The USPS service is usually very efficient. We are sorry, but cannot guarantee arrival times as we have no control after the product has been submitted for shipping. You will be sent a tracking number, which will indicate the location of your product and its anticipated arrival date by logging onto https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction (the USPS website). For holiday orders (i.e. Hanukkah, Easter, Christmas, etc.) please allow ample time for shipping during the busy holiday season; there are sometimes unexpected delays during this time. If you need the product in a hurry, we are happy to rush it for the fee the postal service charges. Overnight service for any small package is usually about $25, so it's always best to plan ahead to avoid extra mailing charges.
